Children will be able to document their dramatisation experiences on paper.


Written Interpretation of drawing:

After the role-playing session, Tiffanie documented her play experiences on paper. She drew herself, together with two other peers in the ‘hospital’.

Objective of play:

Children will be able to work together to role play as community helpers in the hospital and engage in meaning conversations.


Written interpretation of photo:

Tiffanie, Kai Herng and Evan were dramatising a scene in the hospital using the doctor, nurse and patient puppets. They negotiated with each other the roles that they wanted to take up. The children played and worked cooperatively.

Objective:

Child will be able to explore the rubbing method and create an art piece using cling wrap and paint (red, yellow and blue).


Written Interpretation:

Christopher placed the cling wrap over the paint and started to rub with his fingers. He said, “The paints are so soft and it is so fun pinching and spreading the paint. It looks like a rainbow.”
