What is PLAYFUL Learners Movement?

Playful Learners is a three-year national play movement to advocate more play for children. The movement embodies the vision of the Preschool Teachers Network Singapore that children should enjoy their childhood and learn through play as all forms of play are purposeful.

As play is fun, intrinsically motivating and empowering, the movement strives to make children’s childhood memorable by encouraging children to learn and grow in an enjoyable and meaningful way. The movement aims to bring together play advocates from all around Singapore to inspire all stakeholders, including schools, parents, and the community to provide children with more opportunities to learn through play.

The focus of the three-year play movement is as follows:

  • Second year Campaign (2018) - Playful Learners @ Home
