Kindergarten 2 children from PCF Sparkletots Preschool@ Radin Mas Blk 21 shared how they learned through play in numeracy, Gross motor skills, art & craft and also outdoor activities.

After a large group activity about picture graph, a plate of unifix cubes were given to each child. Children had to sort given unifix cubes based on its colours and transfer it to their activity sheets by colouring the correct number of boxes to represent each group of colours.

During a gross motor skills activity, children played ‘Poison Ball’ in a small group.

One child (in the centre) will have to avoid the ‘poison ball’ by jumping over the ball rolled.

Children exploring with collage materials (lolly sticks and buttons) provided at the Creative Area.

One child was seen creating a ladder while the other was creating a house.

The playground in front of our school provides a lot of opportunities for children to develop their gross motor skills. In this instance, a child was seen climbing up the rock climbing wall while another was making her way up on the red pillar to reach the bars up above.
