"Children are born scientists.

They're curious about everything around them."

- Neil deGrasse Tyson

The N2 children at Agape Child Care (CCL) Pte Ltd were having a lesson on what floats and what sinks.

Following the story of the children in the storybook, we tested out the items listed in the book first, and recorded down our observations in the form of circling ‘F’ or ‘S’, for ‘float’ or ‘sink’.

Afterwards, the children tested out the other materials available at the corner to discover more about what floats and what sinks.

The children crowded around to see what happens to the marble Jyan dropped.

Chloe and Chen Rui dropping marbles and seashells into the water.

Rebecca dropped a cup into the water and found out it floats.

Jia Ming dropping an aluminium foil ball into the water to test out what happens

The children recorded down their observations on the whiteboard.
