The N2 children from PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Bukit Batok Block 206 are showing us on how they learn numbers through play.
Children were exploring with different objects found in the classroom to show the concept of sizes. They were supposed to select one small and one big item and evaluate their choices as a group. Play can be incorporated with numeracy and social-emotional learning areas where they can learn with their peers.
今天老师讲解的是“朋友之间的合作”，全班幼儿在理解老师的意思后，这几个小朋友就主动组成了一个小组，他们沟通之后选择在语言角玩“接龙游戏”，在游戏的过程中，一个马来的小朋友指着那个图片说：“这个一样的”然后另一个华人小朋友就点头说，“是的，这个是刀，一样的”然后，马来的那个小朋友还重复说了一遍“刀”，而坐在旁边找图片的那个华人小朋友也凑过去看，说“对的，这个是刀”，通过这个活动有效的促进了幼儿的交流沟通能力，以及认知能力，更有效的促进了幼儿之间的合作关系。
