PCF Sparkletots Preschool@ Radin Mas Blk 21 shared their K2 activities with us. Children show their creativity through art & craft, construction, numeracy and Pretend play.
At the Creative Area, children were given opportunities to create 3D artwork using recyclable materials. Here, they were using Paper Mache technique with scrap paper to cover up the surfaces of their artwork.
At the Construction Area, children were provided recyclable boxes and blocks that they can use to work together with their friends to build their ‘Hang Out Place’. In this picture, children were heard saying “This is our safe house! We can relax inside the safe house”.
Children exploring ‘Tens and Ones’ at the Mathemagic Area. Using lego blocks and an egg tray, children took turns to use the lego blocks to make the number shown on the egg tray showing tens and ones concept they have learnt previously. Children helped to check each others’ work by counting on from 10.
In one of the large group activity, children played ‘Fish and Shark’ where children pretended to be fishes swimming in the sea When teacher shouted “Shark!”, they have to run away from the appointed ‘shark’ to the safe place designated. Children showed working together with others to ensure that no fish were caught by the shark.
