K1 children at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Keat Hong Blk 435 were able to imagine cooking a dish and dramatize it. They copy a simple sentence and apply basic conventions of writing while copying the sentence, e.g. capitalization, space between words and using full-stop.

The children ran to their home one by one to get one vegetable each.

Nathan said, “I have capsicum here.”

The story teller cuts the vegetables.

The story-teller started the fire and added the vegetables one at a time. The children named the vegetables as he put them into the pot.

The whole village enjoyed the vegetable soup.

The children said good bye and thanked the story teller for story he told them.

After the story time, the children drew a picture based on the story.

Class dictated story by the children.

Children’s reflection.
