The following series of pretend play, children learnt the different roles and jobs in their community.
In the pretend play area, children experiencing the job of being a hairdresser. The other customers learnt to wait for their turn to get their ‘hair service’.
In the pretend play area, children experiencing the job of being a doctor; using stethoscope to check on patients and nurses; giving patients prescribed medicine.
During this pretend play, children played the role of being a bus driver and passengers. With some of them pretending to be old lady and old man, lady with a baby and etc. Through these, children get to learn the courtesy of giving seats to those who needs it more.
“Zhen Jie, you have to find the things in this picture and match.” Said Ashton as he points to the picture on the puzzle piece.
“Look! We are cutting food to cook. Do you want some?”
“Oh no, big bad wolf came and spoilt our house…”“Let’s fix it back again together!”
