Drawing is a form of documentation by children as they recalled on the activity and record it on the paper. As the children progress, they were encouraged to describe their drawing through writing.
Let's take a look at what the K2 children at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Telok Blangah Blk 44 shared with us this week!
Jia Yi documented their learning on the concept of ‘pull’ and ‘push’.
She drew herself pulling a string tied around a ball.
Jia Yi said that the ball represented a luggage.
She was pulling the luggage to Malaysia with Mummy.
The K2 Respect children participated in an activity that encouraged them
to investigate whether it was easier to push or pull a load.
The activity was carried out in a form of a racing game. Everyone had so much fun!!
During our numeracy lesson, numerals from 1 to 20 were placed on the floor around the Music Room. The children counted in 2’s and jumped on the respective numbers accordingly.
After the activity, they reflected on their play experiences through drawing and writing.
