Let's take a look at what the K2 children at PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Keat Hong Blk 295 were doing. The teachers had made some hands-on activities for the children to work with as they enhanced their Language and Literacy, Numeracy, Social-Emotional skills.

Children take turn to spin the arrow on the wheel.

Read the number word, count and move the number of steps on the game board.

Besides applying numeracy skills, children also learn to play cooperatively.

The Little Red Hen puppet theater provide a platform for children

to retell the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ as well as creating their own version of story.

Pegging the letters to the word cards allow children to practice their fine motor skill

which will strengthen muscles and improve ability in control objects.

Children also learn new vocabulary.

Matching the uppercase letters to it corresponding lowercase letters to form the shape of an egg. Children learn the relation of the letters of the alphabet which prepare them

to use the convention of writing appropriately when they write sentences.
