Jumping high to reach the target
Children developed various skills during MSD lessons.
A child who can accomplish the tasks will feel good about himself/herself
and learn to persevere when they meet challenges too!
The girl listened to the number that the teacher called out
and hop into the correct number box.
A simple game like this not only enhance children’s motor skills
but reinforce their knowledge on number recognition as well.
Shannice was at the Numeracy centre playing with the manipulative.
She placed the same colours together and attempted to identify them.
She then determined the quantity of bugs in each colour
and wrote the corresponding numeral in each set.
The Matching Game:
Children to pick a picture card from the basket.
Name the object in the picture and identify the beginning letter.
Put the picture card into the container that shows the correct beginning letter
From this activity, children get to identify and reinforce their knowledge
on the beginning sound of the words.
